Left, But Not THAT Far Left

Manhattan Politics (Or Not)

If you didn't know, the most liberal cities in America (besides 99% Democratic/Green Minneapolis) include Berkeley, Cambridge, Beverly Hills, and Manhattan (odd group, that).

Within Manhattan, the most liberal neighborhood is quite possibly the village (as in "Greenwich Village'').

So, while strolling the High Line earlier this week and taking in all the stunning architecture on display in and around it, I thought nothing of the letters "C"-"H"-"E" spelled out vertically on a prominent sign.

That would be "Che Guevara," I assumed.

Just to be sure, I walked off the path a few feet to see the rest of the sign.

It continued: "L"-"S"-"E"-"A," as in "C-H-E-L-S-E-A."

Which would be the neighborhood immediately to the north of the village.
